New Year, New You: WarmSculpting with SculpSure®
Like many of the patients that we treat at Family Medicine and Aesthetics with Jay Michael Trussler, DO, you might be struggling with stubborn and difficult-to-lose fat. Maybe you’ve tried a few techniques, such as dieting and exercising, but still aren’t seeing the results you want. Create the new you this New Year with the help of WarmSculpting with SculpSure®.
What is WarmSculpting with Sculpsure?
WarmSculpting with SculpSure is a non-invasive procedure that’s used to reduce or eliminate fat in targeted areas around your body. It’s a form of lipolysis (a fat-eliminating process) that uses special lasers to “melt” away your fat cells.
The SculpSure device is a heated laser belt that wraps around the part of your body that is being targeted for fat loss. The specialized belt delivers fat-eliminating wavelengths that reach temperatures between 107.6 and 116.6 degrees Fahrenheit that have the ability to kill fat cells under your skin without harming surrounding tissue.
The WarmSculpting belt alternates between a cooling effect and a heating effect, with many patients experiencing minimal discomfort of tingling sensations and deep warmth throughout the treatment process.
The treatment process takes roughly 25 minutes per targeted area. So if you’re targeting multiple areas in a single session, your procedure length will increase by intervals of roughly 25 minutes.
What parts of the body is WarmSculpting best suited for?
You can receive WarmSculpting on various parts of your body, including:
- Back
- Thighs
- Belly
- Lovehandles
- Under the chin
Typically, WarmSculpting procedures are best suited for patients who have a body mass index (BMI) equalling 30 or less. It’s often best for patients who struggle with obesity to seek other forms of weight loss help prior to incorporating WarmSculpting into their weight loss strategy.
How to prepare for a WarmSculpting with SculpSure treatment
Preparing for a WarmSculpting treatment is very simple. There are no prior restrictions on what you can and cannot do, and you can come in whatever clothing makes you comfortable. Dr. Trussler will want to discuss your medical history and be made aware of any medications you’re currently taking.
When sitting down to discuss WarmSculpting with Dr. Trussler, you’ll want to tell him which areas of your body you're interested in eliminating fat. After a quick examination, he’ll be able to provide you with an idea of how many treatments you’ll need to achieve your desired results.
If you’re struggling with stubborn fat and are interested in exploring how WarmSculpting with ScupSure can help in your weight loss journey, call us today or schedule an appointment online for a consultation with Dr. Trussler.
